Zone E - Allied Health Professionals

A multi-disciplinary team is a consultative team made up of a combination of professionals, such as occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech and language therapist, yoga therapist and medical practitioners, and there may be occasions when all experts will meet together. However, more often a child will need to see just one specialist.

Early assessment from a paediatrician, occupational therapist, speech and language therapist is important; the sooner the correct support is put in place, the more chance it has to make a difference.
